Protekt-a-Splice was designed in conjunction with mechanical splice manufacturers and is a hybrid resin system combining the advantages of polyurethane and epoxy in one system .   

This versatile compound allows it to bond to metallic / steel substrates with the strength and adhesion of an epoxy compound, while still offering the flexibility, resilience and tear strength of a traditional  polyurethane elastomer. 

Protekt-a-Splice has been designed to bond to rubber and metallic / steel surfaces without the aid of a surface primer or conditioner. This makes it ideal for sealing clip joints and covering fasteners on rubber and PVC conveyor belts. 

The product is designed to be used all brands of conveyor belt fasteners and clip joints including Goro, Flexco, Mato, Conveyor Accessories, Multotec etc.  This gives the user an assurance that they need not change their splice suppliers or maintenance contractor when  using Protekt-a-Splice.
