Learn how to create beautiful resin art at a workshop in our dedicated resin art academy in the Surrey countryside.
Resin is a versatile medium offering the ability to express endless creativity. During the session you will learn about working with art grade resins, from introduction & basic techniques right up to advanced processes. You will be learning and honing your skills inside a fully functioning resin company and the home of resin art. Your workshop will take place at the new headquarters of Eli-Chem Resins Ltd in Dunsfold, Surrey, United Kingdom. Our instructors are either professional resin artists or specialists working in the resin industry for a living.
What do I get for the course fee?
- Expert instruction by a professional resin artist and/or an experienced member of our Eli-Chem team
- All products and materials will be supplied including resin, pigments, additives & heat gun
- PPE - apron, gloves and safety glasses
- 1 x printed canvas for the clear coating module (if you don’t bring your own painting along to be clear-coated)
- 2 x 40cm round art boards for pigmented pours, yours to take home afterwards or arrange for us to courier to you (extra fee will apply)
- Coffee and lunch provided
- Quality apron to use on the day and take home with you
- The opportunity to stock up on all products used at steeply discounted prices, even lower than our website prices
All resins, pigments, additives, aprons, gloves, safety glasses and heat guns will be provided. Just bring yourself, and don’t wear your best clothes! We will supply 2 x round wooden boards for you to create your masterpieces. You will also be clear coating a piece of art, you can bring your own work to clear coat but the dimensions should be no more than 40 x 40 x 4cms. Alternatively we can supply a print for you to take home.
You can also request to work on a square board, all products demonstrated will be available to purchase at steeply discounted prices.
Eli-Chem are known as an innovator of safer artwork products, and the resins you will be using are all ASTM certified as non toxic, non hazardous and odourless. A full range of opaque and metallic pigments will be made available for you to select and work with. You will also get to grips with using resi-BLAST Dispersion Media. You have the option of taking your masterpieces home with you or we can package and ship them to you a few days later. Packing and shipping prices will vary according to size and destination.
The course will last approximately 5 hours with coffee and lunch included. Free on-site parking is available. Once you have booked your space we will email you with a map and directions how to find us along with all the information you will need to make the most of your day with us.

Fabulous day - learned so much - very relaxed and friendly. Had a good group and lots of fun creating our designs. So many things you can do with the resin and colours it blows your mind !! So pleased I went and had great advice on problems I\'d come across when trying at home. Perfect whether you are a complete beginner or have some knowledge. Lots of learn and they have all the tools to create everything. Have already recommended to friends and show the results of my course to friends/family and they cannot believe what can be produced. I\'ll be back ....lol..... for a different course....

I attended the course 2 years after originally booking it pre-covid. I had already tried using resin following YouTube videos but felt I needed more instruction as it\'s too expensive to waste. I found the course very instructive and would recommend it to anyone, whether artistic or not. The instructors were very knowledgeable and the lunch was ideal. A great fun day.
Took my daughter to this course earlier this week. She thoroughly enjoyed it. She like the people running the course, the content, the food. It was a great day.

Had a brilliant day at Eli-Chem Resins workshop! Learned tips and tricks from the industry best! While having lots of fun and laughter. It is lovely to meet other creatives. The workshop is a wonderfully inspiring space. Creativity was flowing through. So much choice available in terms of colour choices. Definitely will be back, for sure! Recommending to a beginner and advanced.
We attended this workshop with an open mind as we are new to this type of arts and craft media. The Aqua Cast is an amazing game changer product that is very easy to use and the Crackle Paste is a fantastic product to create unique magical affects every time. Also we would like to send a thank you to Scott and Tasha for all their guidance and expertise during the day. To all the people out there who are sitting on the fence like us, just go for it you can\'t go wrong!
What a brilliant course. I took an existing acrylic painting and resin-ed that. Thrilled with the result. AND the tuition, explanations and creative format of the day allowed so much potential. It was great to see what others had done too, all works were beautiful and unique. Can\'t wait to really experiment at home. Fab day, thank you.
This was my first experience working with resin and I couldn't have been better looked after. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. If you are thinking about trying it out, do not hesitate to get on a course here!

I really enjoyed the course, it was well organised and very informative. very friendly support staff and Tash ,Rob and Aram who ran the course were great. Good selection for lunch. A fun experience, despite the fact that the round trip took me 7 hours, because of congestion on the motorways.

I had been wanting to do a resin course for a long time . And my friend recommended this one to me. It was fantastic . Everything was covered and easy to understand . Aram Tash and Rob were very friendly informative and inspiring . All of the staff were very welcoming and I really had a lovely day . I am so excited to start making my resin art . Would Defo recommend I could of stayed all day .

I went on the course on the 4th of June with my partner, she wanted to go and I was'nt sure but boy was I wrong. It was such a brilliant course, the trainers was excellent, and i had such a good time. Loved doing my art and cant wait to do more. Bought some of off them at the NEC and bought some more on the day all ready to do more. Never thought I\'d enjoy it so much. Thank you. Would recommend.

A really great workshop! Staff are very friendly and generous with their knowledge and time. Just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Aram and Tasha at @elichemresins for the hands-on resin workshop yesterday 13th Apr. Lots of useful info on using #mastercast121 #resiblast #ultracast and ink systems.\r\nWell worth the 5 hours round trip. I have used and dealt with varios members of the Eli-Chem team over the last couple of years and would highly recommended them.\r\nA great starter course. Also suitable for those with a bit more experience in using epoxy resin\r\n
100% recommend this workshop. I went a couple of weeks ago, with no prior experience of using resin. I learnt so much and created some lovely bits. Now buying the bits I need to continue and will certainly return as the workshops expand.
We had the best day! It was such fun and we came away with fabulous artworks that we are thrilled with. Highly recommend!
